Do I need a generator for my off-grid system?
Your solar system should cover your power needs 95% + of the time, however we highly recommend a good quality, automatic start generator to ensure you have energy security and full power capacity throughout the worst days of winter.

Is my rooftop solar system covered by warranty?
Yes it certainly is. Each panel type typically gets a 25 year performance warranty and at least a 10 year manufacturing warranty, depending on the panel chosen. Jinko panels offer a 10 year manufacturing warranty, QCells panels 12 years, and SunPower panels offer a 25 year manufacturing warranty (parts and labour).

My customer has a 1.5kW system installed with a third party inverter brand. If he wants to upgrade the system with a Fronius Primo 5 kW inverter in addition to the existing system, where the DNSP requires 5kW export limit, can this be done by using a Fron
Yes, if your export limit is equal to or greater than the other inverter’s output capacity this can be done. Please note: The Fronius Smart Meter will not control the power output of the third-party inverter. For example: If the third-party inverter is 1.5 kW and Fronius inverter is 5 kW and there is only 5 kW allowed to export, then the export limitation value that can be set on the Fronius inverter is 5 kW.

Maintenance and Storage
Cleaning
It is recommended that the battery system be cleaned periodically. If the enclosure is dirty, please use a soft, dry brush or a dust collector to remove the dust. Liquids such as solvents, abrasives, or corrosive liquids should not be used to clean the enclosure.
Maintenance
The battery module should be stored in an environment with a temperature range between -10°C~+50°C, and charged regularly according to the table below with no more than 0.5 C (C-rate is a measure of the rate at which a battery is charged and discharged relative to its maximum capacity) to the SOC of 30% after a long time of storage.
